কুহরিল মহুয়া বনে।
চমকি’ জাগিনু নিশীথ শয়নে।।
শূন্য-ভবনে মৃদুল সমীরে
প্রদীপের শিখা কাঁপে ধীরে ধীরে।
চরণ-চিহ্ন রাখি’ দলিত কুসুমে
চলিয়া গেছ তুমি দূরে বিজনে।।
বাহিরে ঝরে ফুল আমি বুঝি ঘরে
বেণু-বনে সমীরণ হাহাকার করে,
ব’লে যাও কেন গেলে এমন ক’রে
কিছু নাহি ব’লে সহসা গোপনে।।
