শূন্য আজি, গুল-বাগিচা
যায় কেঁদে দখিন হাওয়া।
রাঙা গুলের বাজার আজি
স্মৃতির কাঁটায় ছাওয়া॥
ধূলি-ঢালা ফুল-সমাধি
আজি সে গুলিস্তানে
ছিল যথায় জলসা খুশির
বুলবুলির গজল গাওয়া॥
শুকনো পাতায় ছেয়েছে আজ
সাকির চরণ-রেখা,
নাহি সেথায় বঁধুর লাগি
বধূর আসা যাওয়া॥
নাহি মিঠা পানির নহর
পড়ে আছে বালুচর,
এ যেন গো হৃদয়ের
ভরা-ডুবির পথ বাওয়া॥
