একেলা গোরী জলকে চলে গঙ্গাতীর।
অঙ্কে ঢুলিয়া পড়ে লালসে অলস সমীর॥
কাঁকনে কলসে বাজে
কত কথা পথ মাঝে,
আঁচল চুমিছে শিশির॥
তটিনীতে চলে কি গো
সোনার বরন মায়া-মৃগ,
নয়নে আবেশ মদির।
রাঙা উষার রাঙা সতিন,
পথ-ভোলা ছন্দ কবির॥
