লজ্জা পেয়ে নীরব হল উষা জ্যোতির্ময়ী।
সুপ্তিসাগরতীর বেয়ে সে এসেছে মুখ ঢেকে,
অঙ্গে কালি মেখে।
রবির রশ্মি কই গো তোরা, কোথায় আঁধার-ছেদন ছোরা,
উদয়শৈলশৃঙ্গ হতে বল্ ‘মাভৈঃ মাভৈঃ’।
