আসা-যাওয়ার মাঝখানে
একলা আছ চেয়ে কাহার পথ-পানে॥
আকাশে ওই কালোয় সোনায় শ্রাবণমেঘের কোণায় কোণায়
আঁধার-আলোয় কোন্ খেলা যে কে জানে
আসা-যাওয়ার মাঝখানে॥
শুকনো পাতা ধুলায় ঝরে, নবীন পাতায় শাখা ভরে।
মাঝে তুমি আপন-হারা, পায়ের কাছে জলের ধারা
যায় চলে ওই অশ্রু-ভরা কোন্ গানে
