কৃষ্ণপক্ষে অধো হয় বামে,
আবার দেখি শুক্লপক্ষে
কিরূপে যায় দক্ষিণে॥
খুঁজিলে আপন ঘরখানা,
পাইবে সকল ঠিকানা,
বার মাসে চব্বিশ পক্ষ,
অধর-ধরা তার সনে॥
স্বর্গ-চন্দ্র দেহ-চন্দ্র হয়
তাহাতে ভিন্ন কিছুই নয়,
ঐ চাঁদ ধরিলে সে চাঁদ মেলে
