না মিটিতে সাধ মোর নিশি পোহায়।
গভীর আঁধার ছেয়ে আজও হিয়ায়॥
আমার নয়ন ভরে
এখনও শিশির ঝরে,
এখনও বাহুর পরে
বঁধু ঘুমায়॥
এখনও কবরী-মূলে
কুসুম পড়েনি ঢুলে,
এখনও পড়েনি খুলে
মালা খোঁপায়॥
নিবায়ে আমার রাতি;
পোহাল সবার রাতি
নিশি জেগে মালা গাঁথি,
প্রাতে শুকায়॥
