ছাড়ল খেয়া ও পার হতে ভাদ্রদিনের ভরা স্রোতে রে,
দুলছে তরী নদীর পথে তরঙ্গবন্ধুর।
কদমকেশর ঢেকেছে আজ বনতলের ধূলি,
মৌমাছিরা কেয়াবনের পথ গিয়েছে ভুলি।
অরণ্যে আজ স্তব্ধ হাওয়া, আকাশ আজি শিশির-ছাওয়া রে
আলোতে আজ স্মৃতির আভাস বৃষ্টির বিন্দুর।
